Training Prior to opening the restaurant, the franchisee operating partner, one full-time general manager, an assistant manager and a kitchen manager will receive a total of approximately eight weeks of training by our staff. During the opening, we will provide a minimum of ten days on-site assistance. After that, your key operating staff will be required to attend refresher courses, seminars and other training programs from time to time. What you'll need to do:

  • Complete a franchisee application.
  • Visit a Walk-On’s location and speak with other franchisees.
  • Have your operating partner complete an On the Job Experience “OJE” where you will spend the day in a Walk-On’s location with our operations team seeing what we do and why we do it.
  • Complete a business plan based on what you have learned about Walk-On’s and submit it to us for review.
  • Attend a Discovery Day at our corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
  • Participate in a personal interview with our executive team to make sure that WalkOn’s fits

  •  The total investment necessary to begin operation of a single Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is from $1,214,000 - $4,033,700, including $90,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliate.
