In 2003, after years of testing, trialing and developing systems to ensure a successful transition, we opened our first franchised store in South Australia. Because the Buda Juice concept is grab and go, the footprint is small, with most stores being only about 500 square feet. Initial capital investment and overhead are also low. The stores are kitchen-free, requiring minimum build-out, and only one or two juice ambassadors armed with an iPad or two to run smoothly.
