The franchise name of Hire-A-Hubby is designed to be original, easily recognized, easily remembered, instills trust, is friendly and, most importantly, is synonymous with home maintenance. This means we are not limited to a specific service and therefore are able to provide greater scope for a variety of works. Our exclusive territories are available nationwide and are based on mailing addresses within a pre-determined area with approximately 5,000 dwellings in each area. Rather than compete for work Hire-A-Hubby franchisees actually assist each other. Franchisees of the Hire-A-Hubby group are practical people who have a passion for DIY, with skills developed throughout their adult life. The system allows the franchisee to work close to home in a territory of their choice, without having to travel from one side of town to the other each day to make their living. Hire a Hubby franchisee Shaun Penprase models the new look for the brand, which has been introduced as the company builds its commercial client base.The target market for customers extends from the domestic clients, through to property managers and real estate agents, and includes the commercial market. Franchisees are encouraged to grow their business using staff and contractors to take full advantage of the under-serviced market space.
