The ATMtrailer has a very low hard operating cost. The wireless service runs about $20 per month. Paper costs about $10 per roll and a roll will last about 800 transactions. The marketing costs are virtually non-existent. The most expensive hard cost is the fuel to get the ATMtrailer to the event.

How many times have you attended an event whether it be a concert, auto race or county fair and found that you had underestimated the amount of money you would need to have the good time the event offered. Many times customers underestimate the cost of food, drinks or souvenirs. Children usually have no concept of money and want everything in sight. When these customers need cash, they start looking for the ATM.
Marketing your ATMtrailer

Marketing is the easy part. There are flyers and post cards. In the right market radio advertising and billboards may work well. But, we find the best marketing is simply picking up the phone, calling the event coordinator and offering to provide more cash available to patrons of the event. Making the event coordinators aware that without the ATMtrailer they are limiting the customers at the event to spending the cash they brought with them will have them asking you to bring your ATMtrailer. In our extensive test marketing done prior to the introduction of the ATMtrailer, we have never had anyone say, “No, we don’t need any more cash available at our event”.

We have had several people tell us the easiest way to market their ATMtrailer has been to simply show up at the event, find the coordinator and ask to provide ATM services for the event. Each time, the ATMtrailer was set up at the event and did well. Not only that, the coordinator signed a multi-year agreement.
