FAST-FIX opened its first store in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1984 with great success. Consumers responded because they didn't have to wait weeks for a repair to be completed and could see first-hand the quality and care that goes into every repair. Soon thereafter, FAST-FIX began franchising domestically, with the first franchise store opening in Dallas, Texas. After acquiring the company in 1996, Chief Executive Officer, Marvin Biltis and President, Kenneth A. Marks successfully expanded its' franchise operations from 50 to more than 160 franchised stores. Under their oversight, FAST-FIX has also achieved continued sales growth to over $56 million in 2008 and has plans to open more than 15 franchised locations annually.
