The idea sprung to life in Montreal in 1993. We started out with just
a few key thoughts and a passion for innovation and memorable
experiences.
From the first, we wanted to take our favorite mealtime ingredients
and creatively expand their culinary taste delights across not just
breakfast and brunch but also to lunch and dinner -"set in a welcoming and
energetic bar and café ambiance. This new level of innovation has led
us to today’s satisfying and diverse eggspectation menu ranging from
freshly prepared artisanal brioche French toast, thin French crepes,
Belgian waffles, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, pastas, burgers, seafood,
steak and -"of course" - eggs benedict! Those Montreal beginnings have grown
to fit today’s fresh, clean, and very tasty modern American cuisine.
Even after 25 years, we are thrilled to celebrate our customer
friendly culture with its focus on service, an eye toward better eating,
and a passionate reverence for all things "breakfasty.”
The investment required to open a Eggspectation Franchise is between $650,000-$1,500,000. There is an initial franchise fee of $50,000 which grants you the license to run a business under the Eggspectation name.

Training
*An initial training program as defined in the franchise agreement.
*Training programs, seminars and other related activities regarding the operation of the Restaurant as we reasonably deem necessary or appropriate.
*Certain on-site remedial training when requested and found appropriate.
Support
*Site selection.
*Onsite assistance prior to and during restaurant opening.
*Regular visits, evaluations of the Restaurant, products and services provided at the Restaurant to ensure that the high standards of quality, appearance and service of the System are maintained.
*Our prototype restaurant design and consultation provided during restaurant construction.
*Assist in local marketing and advertising for your restaurant unit.
*Advice and written materials (including updates to the Manuals) concerning techniques for managing and operating the Restaurant, including new developments and improvements in equipment, food products, packaging and preparation.
*The use of our established supply sources, including negotiated prices that could not likely be attained by an independent operator.
*Merchandising support programs, product tie-ins and seasonal promotions to attract new customers, enhance customer loyalty to maximize the frequency of visits.
*The benefit of our Research and Development team that is constantly testing new products and searching for new ideas and better ways to serve customers.
Marketing
*With available marketing funds, we plan marketing campaigns on regional or national level.
*Assist in local marketing and advertising for your restaurant unit.
