The Zoom Room's proprietary online classroom is like a grad school course in dog behavior, providing a comprehensive educational background. After completing this course at your own pace, completing all assignments, and performing volunteer work at local shelters, you will attend three weeks of hands-on training in Los Angeles learning the curriculum, training methods and dog handling, as well as our state-of-the-art software system for managing enrollments, inventory, sales, accounting and client management, as well as all other topics germane to running your business successfully. Support
All of the worlds best teachers know that learning never ends. We have been training dogs forever, and yet not a day goes by that we do not pick up some new insight, technique, or modification. Recognizing this, we make sure that all of our franchisees receive ongoing training. If there is a better way to get a dog to stop counter-surfing, or to bring you a latte, we want to make sure you know all about it, so you can share it with your clients and their eager-to-learn dogs.
Business Experience:
Absolutely no prior dog training experience is necessary. However, it goes without saying that candidates MUST LOVE DOGS! Candidates should have impeccable professional appearance, charm and charisma, as this is a customer-service-oriented business. Excellent spoken and written communication skills, great attention to detail, basic computer skills, enthusiasm, passion, ambition, warmth and compassion are necessities. Having run your own business, or past experience in sales, marketing, and teaching or coaching groups of people are all great assets to bring to the table. You should have $75K of liquid capital available for this business and a net worth of at least $150K.
Your income potential as a Zoom Room Franchise entrepreneur depends vastly on many factors. As an entrepreneur, the goals to achieve are related to expanding sales while lowering your operation costs and increasing the quality of your products and or services. Each month your operating costs can include royalty fees, mortgage / rent, supplies for products, staffing, utilities, bookwork, stationary and other items. From one month to the next, you may find your costs fluctuate, but your up-front costs are, for the most part, fixed and they will cover most of the initial setup of equipment, signage and renovations.
