KING OF PRUSSIA, PENNSYLVANIA | Wednesday, November 02, 2005

Joseph Lendacky, a 72-year-old retired sheet metal worker and resident of King of Prussia received a great phone call recently. He’d been told he’d won $1,000 for participating in a web-based/telephone guest survey for Bear Rocktm Cafe. “Oh, I was so happy, “Lendacky said. “My wife and I eat at Bear Rock all the time, so then to win was just great,” he added. “I don’t know what we’ll do with the money, but I’m sure my wife will figure it out,” he joked.

Mr. Lendacky said he didn’t have a favorite item that he always orders at Bear Rock Cafe because he loves it all and keeps trying new things. “We haven’t had anything that wasn’t great and we’ve been working our way through the menu. We love it the food is delicious,” he said. “We got an email (they are Guest Club members), so we’re going tomorrow to try the Cascade Tuna,” he added. “We’re just thrilled for Mr. Lendacky,” Mike Galli, operating partner of Boomer Lifestyles, LLC, the franchisee group exclaimed. “He and his wife have certainly become loyal Guests and it couldn’t have happened to nicer people,” he added. Bear Rock Cafe, which opened in mid July in the Valley Forge Shopping Center on 192 West DeKalb Pike, is a quick-casual restaurant with an upscale mountain cafe atmosphere featuring hand-crafted sandwiches, garden fresh salads, hot & savory soups, loaded baked potatoes and more.
