New Location Introduces Unique Pizza Buffet Concept to Scottsdale Residents; Company Will Utilize Restaurant as National Training Center for New Franchisees

Eatza Pizza, one of the nation’s fastest growing fast casual restaurant operators, today announced the grand opening of its first Scottsdale restaurant at 8680 E. Raintree Drive.

Located near the intersection of Raintree Drive and the Loop 101 in the existing Kohl’s Center, the new 5,000-square-foot freestanding restaurant introduces the unique pizza buffet concept to Scottsdale residents and incorporates the chain’s new prototype design including a 1,200-square-foot redemption game area.

The new restaurant will also serve as a national training facility for the Scottsdale-based company’s new franchisees, according to Ron Stilwell, president. Eatza Pizza features an all-you-want pizza, pasta, salad and dessert pizza menu at one low price.

The company currently has 71 restaurants opened or under development in the states of Arizona, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Florida, Mississippi, Ohio and Michigan. There are 14 Eatza Pizza restaurants currently operating or planned in the greater Phoenix area.

Stilwell said the opening of the new Scottsdale restaurant “has been a goal of the company for some time. Since our corporate headquarters are located here, it just makes sense that we have our showcase restaurant in our home city. It was really just a matter of finding the right location.” The opening of the new Scottsdale restaurant provides Eatza Pizza with an opportunity to introduce its unique pizza buffet concept to nearby residents and workers who have not had a chance to eat at one of the company’s other Valley locations, Stilwell said. “We expect the Eatza Pizza concept to be well received by families living in the northeast Valley,” Stilwell said, “as well as office personnel and retail employees who work in the Scottsdale Airpark and Promenade areas. Our goal is to create a mainstream brand image that will resonate with families looking for a quick and enjoyable dining experience at an affordable price.” The Eatza Pizza president said the new Scottsdale location will be utilized on a regular basis for new franchise owners who will travel to the Valley for an extensive corporate training program. He said the new restaurant “will incorporate the company’s new prototype design and will feature the company’s recently introduced expanded menu.” “We are looking forward to the introduction of our family-friendly, quick-service restaurant to residents of McDowell Mountain Ranch, Grayhawk, McCormack Ranch and other nearby communities,” Stilwell said. “We are confident local families will embrace the Eatza Pizza formula of quality food, affordable prices and a family-friendly environment.” Stilwell said Eatza Pizza plans to become an active corporate citizen in the Scottsdale area with the introduction of several unique programs that will benefit local schools and youth programs. “We value our relationships with the communities in which we conduct our business,” he stated, “and we are looking forward to developing on-going programs that will benefit area schools, local sports organizations and other community initiatives closely aligned with kids and families.” Value Pricing, Quality Ingredients Value pricing and quality ingredients remain the key to Eatza Pizza’s success.

Pizza selection is virtually unlimited. Customers may choose from an array of freshly baked pizza selections or make specific requests for their own individual favorites. Specialty pizzas such as Spinach Alfredo, Garlic Ranch Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, Chicken Alfredo or “Tostaco” are also available. Every dine-in meal also includes fresh pasta with choice of Marinara, Meat or Alfredo sauce, fried chicken and Zatos (a breaded and fried potato proprietary recipe), a variety of side dishes, fresh salad bar and “pizza desserts.” Limited “add-ons” include chicken wings (hot & spicy and barbecue). Carryout service is also available at all Eatza Pizza locations. For more company information visit www.EatzaPizza.com.
