Leadership Changes At Mars International To Lead Company Into Next Phase Of Growth

Since becoming the President and Director of Training in 1998 when MARS International, Inc. was founded, Jayson Jones has worked hard to assist in the development and foundation of the Appearance Reconditioning systems that MARS franchises. Every current MARS Operator has spent many hours with Jayson during their 2 weeks of initial training in Arlington and many talk to him weekly as he continues to handle technical issues for MARS Operators.

“Without Jayson and his hard work, MARS would not be as great a concept as it is today,” said David Jones, founder and Director of National Development. “His leadership during the initial years and his attention to quality have formed the model that you are using to make your living with today.” As MARS International is now entering the next phase of its national growth and expansion, Jayson has stepped down as President of MARS to allow him more time to put together the Retail Store model. Once developed, this model will be used as a template for all MARS Operators wanting to enter the retail market.

Jayson will remain the Chief Training Officer and Director of the MARS International Training Institute to ensure the continuity and quality of the training provided all MARS Operators. He will also hold the title of President of Miraculous Appearance Retail Services, Inc. This new venture will use the MARS reconditioning systems to develop the retail store concept that Jayson and David Jones have envisioned for many years. MARS is very proud to have such an enthusiastic and qualified officer to lead this new venture.

MARS International has named Mel Luigs as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mel joined the company in February 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer after spending over 20 years in the automotive and transportation industries. He spent many of those years in the franchise sector and brings a great deal of experience to MARS.

“Jayson has been my right hand as we have developed MARS to its current level. I am excited to have Jayson undertake this new venture for all MARS Operators and am excited that we have the personnel to continue our growth and expansion,” said David. “Mel has been a great addition, I am personally excited about the future of our company.”
