Payless Car Rental And Payless Car Sales Continue With Aggressive Expansion

Avalon Global Group, Inc., parent company to Payless Car Rental System, Inc. and Payless Car Sales, Inc., announced the signing of eleven new Payless franchise facilities in December 2004 as part of its aggressive brand expansion. Payless Car Rental and Payless Car Sales opened a combined total of 47 locations in 2004.

In December, Payless Car Rental signed two international franchise agreements: St. Maarten and Kuwait. Payless Car Rental also started operations servicing Campeche, Mexico. In addition to expansion efforts abroad, the company signed its first Payless Car Rental and Payless Car Sales operation agreements in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Payless Car Rental also opened its seventh corporate store in Atlanta, Ga. inside the Landmark Dealership.

Payless Car Sales had an equally productive month with the signing of eight franchise agreements, five of which were in Florida. "The new Payless Car Sales offices in the Florida market are exciting because its an area showing tremendous growth," stated James Formanek, vice president of sales, Payless Car Sales Florida Division. "Our expansion will ensure that Payless Car Sales locations are conveniently located throughout the state." Avalon Global Group will host the 2005 Payless Franchisee Forum in Las Vegas, Nev. from January 16 to 18, 2005. Corporate management, preferred vendors, industry professionals and franchisees from Payless Car Rental and Payless Car Sales will gather from around the nation.
