Advertising and Marketing We'll help you market your new business with a variety of professionally prepared marketing materials and strategies that you can implement at the local level. And you'll benefit from our development of system-wide advertising and marketing campaigns. You'll receive company guidelines for your grand opening, as well as for your local and co-op advertising programs. Purchasing Power Many of our fine ingredients, including our delicious barbecue sauce, chili seasoning, rib marinade and onion batter seasoning are proprietary products that will be available exclusively to you as a Ground Pat'i franchisee. You'll have access to the special preparation that comprises our choice ground beef hamburger patties. In addition, we have valued relationships with national suppliers and may, when appropriate, negotiate quantity discounts on behalf of our system of franchisees, passing on some or all of these savings to you. And we'll put you in touch with approved suppliers, whenever appropriate.
Comprehensive Training . . . You'll Hit the Ground Running Like any winning team, we strongly believe in intensive training. Approximately two months before your grand opening, The Ground Pat'i will provide you and your staff with a comprehensive training program in two phases. Phase one will consist of two to four weeks of training at one of our existing locations for you and up to two of your assistants. You'll get valuable on-the-job training plus in-depth instruction in the administration, operations and sales and marketing of a Ground Pat'i franchise. Phase two of your training will be given at your location, immediately before and after your grand opening, and will cover a period of two weeks. Two experienced trainers from Ground Pat'i will provide this training and will assist you in opening your restaurant. During this time, two of your cooks will receive one week of training at our headquarters, or a designated location - after they have received one week of training with you in product knowledge and kitchen processes. Complete Operations Manual For your day-to-day reference, you'll receive our confidential operations manual, available exclusively to Ground Pat'i franchisees. This valuable guide includes all of the step-by-step procedures used in your daily operation, catalogued in an easy-to-use format. From food preparation, purchasing and inventory management to accounting, marketing and staffing, it puts all the information you need right at your fingertips. It helps you keep your business running smoothly and efficiently, and it's an important tool for training new employees. Our mouth-watering gourmet hamburgers are in great demand and have developed a loyal following of customers over three decades. Although it's our signature item, it's not the only fabulous offering we have to tantalize the taste buds. Our menu is varied. Just as popular as our burgers are our juicy, succulent steaks and other specialties, including our charbroiled chicken and tuna and our barbecued ribs. We serve superior seafood such as fried shrimp, flounder and catfish as well as a broiled fish of the day. In addition, customers love our freshly prepared salads, sensational side dishes and delicious desserts, as well as our savory soups, appetizers and chili. A full service, sit-down bar with a wide selection of spirits, wines and beers adds to the wonderful dining experience our customers enjoy. As a Ground Pat'i franchisee, you'll be entitled to all of the special, proprietary recipes we've developed over the years, recipes that have made The Ground Pat'i a leader in casual dining. So we've designed our restaurants to reflect a warm, homey atmosphere complete with a cozy fireplace, attractive wainscoting, stained glass windows and d�cor rich in earth tones. Couple this natural setting with delicious food and friendly, efficient service, and you have the "recipe" that keeps customers coming back to your restaurant.
