"Wings Of Fire"

There is no better food than buffalo wings to kill that sudden hunger urge. Some people like their wings hot�real hot. Others like to have a sweet flavoring applied to their wings, a sort of honey tint to them. Whatever your taste in wings is, there are two main options on campus to choose from.

Open Sunday at Noon The newest wing establishment, and possibly the best, is Wings Over Storrs. They offer both regular wings and boneless wings that come in 16 different flavors. Those who like the taste of hot sauce without the heat should check out both the Wimpy and Crusin’ Altitude flavors.

On the tasty end of things, the Honey Bar-B-Que and Honey Mustard flavors are both excellent, while both Garlic Parmesan and Teriyaki offer a different brand of flavor.

Those who are daring and like their wings very hot should definitely check out both the Jet Fuel and Afterburner flavor. You might need some water and celery to conquer an order of Jet Fuel, but I did it by drinking some water, and I endured some heat-induced side effects. Afterburner, on the other hand, is the real challenge. I had to split the order with a friend, making that only two and a half boneless wings eaten, and all I say is good luck trying to eat more; but they just taste so good you can’t help but try.

Both the boneless and the regular wings are nice and big-they don’t shortchange you on the value. Both come in five different order sizes, ranging from an order big enough for one person to eat to an order fit to share with 15 of your closest friends. The early indication is that Wings Over Storrs should be flying for a very long time.
