Bear Rock Cafe Announces Harrington As New President

Bear Rock Franchise Systems, Inc., franchisor of Bear Rock Cafe, the 35 unit quick casual restaurant concept, announced today it has named Clyde Harrington, its current Chief Operating Officer, President of Bear Rock Franchise Systems. Harrington had been at Bear Rock since November 2004, serving as chief operating officer, and is taking on the day-to-day presidential responsibilities from Gary Bryant, founder and CEO. Bryant will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Bear Rock Holdings, Inc.

"Clyde brings strong strategic, financial and day-to-day operations management to the organization with his proven track record and full commitment to the Bear Rock Cafe brand." Harrington, a 25-year veteran of the restaurant industry, joins the Bear Rock brand with extensive senior management experience and successes in the food and beverage industry. For the last nine years, Harrington worked for Perkins Family Restaurants. Most recently serving as Vice President of Operations Administration, Harrington oversaw operations administration for nearly 500 restaurants, 345 of which were franchise-owned. Earlier in his career, Harrington held positions at Pizza Hut Corporation for more than 14 years. Harrington holds an MBA from Northwestern University and Bachelors in Business Administration from Huron University.

Some of the additional cities include: Austin, Texas; Reading, Massachusetts, Columbus, Ohio; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Greenville, North Carolina; Leominster, Massachusetts; Glendale, Arizona; Wilmington, North Carolina.
