A Tisket, A Tasket, The Kimberton Fire Company Is Having Another Basket - Bingo That Is - On Sunday, April 2, From 1 To 4 P.m.

The second-annual event for the fire company will be held at the Covered Bridge Room, 61 Firehouse Lane, Kimberton.

According to Wendy Kronmuller, chairperson, the fire company is hoping for a repeat of last year's basket bingo.

"We raised over $4,500 last year," said Kronmuller. "It was a very successful fundraiser for our first time doing it." Kronmuller said the event will again feature Longaberger� Baskets, along with plenty of food and door prizes.

"All of the baskets will be filled with a wide variety of items," she said. "Every basket, which come in various sizes, will have something unique inside. Not only does the winner get a Longaberger� Basket, but a nice surprise in the basket." Even Kronmuller admitted that she's been to several basket bingos in the past.

"They are a lot of fun," she said. "I have quite a few Longaberger� Baskets myself. It'll be great to see people win them on Sunday." All of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Kimberton Fire Company Apparatus and Equipment Fund.

Kronmuller said the doors will open at noon on Sunday, and there will be an estimated 20 games played.

Advanced sales are $20, and while seating is limited, there are still some seats available for this event.
