Computer Renaissance pilots new charity program: "Trade in a Computer and Help a Child"
Recently expanding to serve the growing Cool Springs area, Computer Renaissance, America's largest computer franchise, announced an innovative charity program that helps underprivileged children across middle Tennessee. The new store, located across from Costco at 91 Seaboard Lane in Cool Springs, specializes in new and refurbished computer equipment, allowing the customer to trade older equipment for new equipment. Computer Renaissance is entering the Cool Springs market with a focus on its customers and the community. "Trade in your computer and help a child" is an innovative partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. Computers are traded in by customers, cleaned and updated by Computer Renaissance and donated directly to the Clubs and their young members. These computers will be placed in computer labs or given to members in need. On Monday, December 20th, 2004 at 3:00pm, Camille and Tom Nelson, franchise owners, will present the Boys & Girls Clubs with the first computer. "Computer Renaissance's growth and success depends largely on the quality and commitment of our franchisees and store personnel," stated Jack M Hollis. "We are extremely grateful for our outstanding group of partners, and it is one of the highlights of our year when we have the opportunity to open a new Computer Renaissance store. We thank Camille Nelson of Nelson Enterprises, Inc. and all of our franchisees, as well as all of Computer Renaissance's employees throughout the system, for their hard work and dedication to serving the computer needs of customers from coast to coast."
