Welcome to Eateries, Inc. I'm Vince Orza, chairman and chief executive officer of Eateries, Inc.

We own, operate and franchise casual theme dinner house restaurants in 19 states across the United States. As you will see, Eateries, Inc. offers a variety of foods and atmospheres with broad appeal. In 1984, we opened our first Garfield's restaurant in Edmond, Oklahoma (a suburb of Oklahoma City). We began serving burgers, sandwiches, steaks and liquor and beer in a fun atmosphere. As a result of our success, Eateries has grown Garfield's into a chain of 59 mall-based dinner house restaurants in middle markets across most of the Eastern half of the country. Many of these communities are vibrant retail hubs, serving as gathering places for the surrounding rural area for shopping, movie-going and dining. Fitting to our frugality and dedication to growth and success, in 1998 Eateries, Inc. was ranked the number 1 performing public company in Oklahoma by the Daily Oklahoman, the state's largest newspaper. It was an honor we were proud to share with our 2,700 employees. The success of our company is the result of the hard work of our employees and their entrepreneurial spirit. I have surrounded myself with "mavericks" and encouraged them to find creative solutions to issues that can arise in our very competitive industry.
