Lloyd Staffing Launches Logistics Placement

Lloyd Staffing, a leading staffing services provider since 1971, today announced that Alex C. Metz, CPC, has joined the organization to head up an expanded Logistics Staffing Division in the South Florida Region. Metz comes to Lloyd with more than 30 years experience in the staffing community, most recently as the owner and operator of Hunt Ltd., a New Jersey based executive search organization. Metz is well known to Logistics and Distribution professionals for his successful recruitment and placement initiatives for employers nationwide. He also speaks publicly on topics related to hiring techniques and has served on the executive committee of the Council of Logistics Management. Additionally, Metz hosted a radio call-in show centered on employment issues such as effective interviewing, staffing methods and managing workplace issues. A former officer of the Association of Personnel Consultants of New York, he received the staffing industry's highest honor in 1983. He continues to conduct and participate in numerous staffing seminars and writes articles for Human Resource publications.

In South Florida, Metz will handle all aspects of retained and contingency search for the niche market disciplines of Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain Management placing professionals in these fields in addition to Procurement, Transportation and Materials Management He will conduct candidate searches both regionally, as well as nationally.
