Seth's background includes working in and managing a small retail store. In addition to his retail experience, he spent over five years in public accounting, where he focused on auditing for profit and nonprofit organizations, tax preparation and planning for both corporate and private clients, merger and acquisition consulting, and small business structure and formation consulting.
Seth graduated from Park University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/ Accounting. He is also a 2001 graduate of The University of Dayton where he received his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Seth is a licensed CPA and joined MFC in May 2004.
Seth serves on the Huber Heights, Ohio City Council and was elected Vice Mayor in 2004. He also serves on the City's Public Service Committee, and the Economic Development Board. Additionally, Seth is a member of the Economic Development Oversight Committee for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active member of his church, the Huber Heights Rotary and the Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce. Deborah S. Phillips, CPA, joined MFC this year as Director of Accounting Services for a new turnkey bookkeeping program the company rolled out to serve its franchises nationwide. Phillips, a veteran of public accounting and a leader in many accountant organizations in the Dayton area, is also an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Phillips attended both The Ohio State University and Wright State University.
Deborah Nickell also joined the company as Marketing Coordinator and IT Support. Debbie will work with franchise stores to assist in developing and updating their individual websites. She will also provide the corporate office with technical system support. Debbie brings several years of web design and electronic engineering experience to this position.
Harry Loyle, President and CEO of MFC stated "We are excited about the knowledge and experience these new associates bring to our system. Their individual skill sets will position us to expand much needed services to our franchisees." MotoPhoto is an upscale specialty retailer in the photo developing and portrait business. Since the acquisition of the MotoPhoto� franchise system just over a year ago, the MFC team has been building a successful company and franchise system. Some of the highlights of the past year include the following: aligning with Fujifilm USA and Fuji Hunt for paper, chemicals, equipment and strategic support; implementing new operating programs for the franchise system, such as MOTOePicsSM and MOTODVDSM; introducing new company initiatives that provide leasing and bookkeeping support to the franchisees; winning the 2003 Dayton Business Journal Rookie Business of the Year; and in 2003, achieving the second highest profit in the history of the MotoPhoto system.
