Tom Truong Named President Of Realty Direct Boston

Realty Direct, a full-service residential real estate discount brokerage firm with more than 30 years of experience, has named Tom Truong of Southborough as president of its new Quincy office. In his new position, he will manage for growth and success and will oversee Cash Back programs of up to 1.5 percent of the sales price and Realty Direct commissions of 3.99 percent. Born in Vietnam, Truong moved to Boston with his family at the age of 7. He is a University of Massachusetts at Amherst graduate with a bachelor of economics degree and a minor in business management. He resides in Southborough with his wife and their two daughters. An active member of the community, Truong is a member of the board of directors for the Habitat for Humanity in Boston and a member of EMSI an organization of UMass graduates and entrepreneurs who volunteer their expertise to nonprofit organizations.
