Wine Kitz Supports The Bag-a-cork Program!

We are pleased to announce that Wine Kitz will be participating in the Bag-a-Cork program recently launched through Girl Guides of Canada, Ontario Council. All 13 Wine Kitz stores throughout the Greater Toronto Area will be supporting this cork recycling program by displaying the Bag-a-Cork recycling bin in-store. Cork is a replenishable resource that until recently, few people understood as recyclable. It is an amazing natural material that is 100 percent reusable and recyclable. An estimated 100 million corks will be discarded in Ontario alone in 2005. This translates into over 2500 cubic meters of landfill space each year.
