Omaha 25 Excellence In Business Awards To Honor Diverse Range Of Businesses, Accomplishments

The annual Omaha 25 Excellence in Business Awards Luncheon recognizes excellence throughout a variety of industries and company sizes. The event diversifies the types of companies honored. The Chamber will recognize local privately held companies for their demonstrated financial growth and success. In addition to presenting 20 Excellence in Business Awards, the Chamber will honor the accomplishments of an emerging business, a minority business, a not-for-profit organization, an exceptional small business and a small business advisor. The following winners will be recognized at the May 16 luncheon at Holiday Convention Centre: EMERGING BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD Scooter's Coffeehouse, Inc. A business in operation less than five years, demonstrating excellence in business practices and growth from its start up as well as continual financial stability, improvement and customer service.

"This will be Greater Omaha's premier event for honoring business excellence. We have fantastic companies in this community, and are excited to honor the best of the best through this luncheon," said Chamber President and CEO David G. Brown. The Omaha 25 Excellence in Business Awards Luncheon is sponsored by KPMG LLP, First Westroads Bank, KETV and SMITH HAYES Financial Services Corporation. Tickets to this 11:45 a.m. event are $35 per person and $350 per table of ten for members and $70 per person and $700 per table of ten for non-members.
