Rent-n-roll Finishes Their Third Annual Franchise Meeting...

More than 100 RENT-n-ROLL Custom Wheel And Tires franchisees, operators and vendor guests from around the United States and Canada met February 4-7 at the Harbor Island Weston Hotel in Tampa, Florida, for RENT-n-ROLL's 3rd Annual Franchise meeting. The event kicked off with a golf tournament Sunday morning, followed by a welcome reception and a Super Bowl party. The business sessions included an update on operations, results of vendor committee meetings and a presentation of some of the improvements the company has brought to the franchisees. One of these improvements is this fully redesigned Web site as well as a new intranet system that will enhance franchisee communications. In addition, company executives provided beta site results for the various products tested during the year. Highlighting the business meetings was a presentation from the advertising committee, which included a "special appearance" by a well known celebrity... look-a-like, that is. It was very entertaining and got everyone involved and excited about one of this years upcoming promotions (to be revealed in the coming months).

Monday night, the "Mike Kent Pioneer Award" was presented to Wayne Sutton, a franchisee who "demonstrated that he can forge ahead despite adversity". "I appreciate the award and of course it was earned by our entire team," says Sutton. "Our team went through some difficult and challenging times [during Katrina] and some of them are still going through difficult times, but the group made a commitment to press forward and we did," he says.

The Store Manager of the Year award was also presented during the evening's festivities to Brian Napp of Gulf Port, MS. Napp says it was a complete surprise. "Larry [Sutton] caught me off guard," he says. "I was quite surprised. The credit really goes to the people in my store more so than to me," he says. "They're the ones who make it happen day to day."
