The Velocity Sports Performance training programs are designed to help individuals excel in performance skills testing that help players demonstrate core skills that are sometimes clouded by awards hype and team performance. Velocity Sports Performance helps make athletes faster, stronger and more explosive. Improved stamina is both a result and a benefit of the conditioning process, which will serve Velocity Sports Performance athletes well as they get to the next level in their careers.

"Athletes who prepare at Velocity Sports Performance perform at their peak because the cutting-edge programs implemented by our Sports Performance Directors and Performance Coaches across the country have been specifically designed to optimize the building blocks of athleticism: speed; power; and agility. These are measurable qualities that the NFL combine and scouts use to determine the likelihood of each prospect's success in the NFL." In 2006, 21 Velocity Sports Performance clients signed free-agent contracts with professional teams following the 2006 NFL Draft. One of the more interesting free-agent candidates who trained at Velocity Sports Performance is Jai Lewis, a basketball player at George Mason University, who had a much shorter time period to prepare for the NFL after his team unexpectedly made it to the Final Four of the NCAA national basketball tournament. Lewis' situation is strikingly similar to that of Jeremy Bloom, a skier who represented the United States in the 2006 Winter Olympics, who also trained at Velocity Sports Performance and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft as a wide receiver. Both of these dynamic athletes had to overcome the challenge of training for a completely different sport in a dramatically shortened timeline. Velocity Sports Performance defines sports performance training and has built a business devoted to training athletes in every sport, at all ages and all skill levels. Athletes of any skill level can realize their potential through advanced training programs, scientifically designed to maximize human sports performance. Velocity Sports Performance offers athletes from age eight through adult, semi-private and team-based sports performance training designed to help increase speed, power and agility, while reducing the risk of sports-related injuries. The goal is to provide a safe, positive environment that promotes long-term psychological and physical development, leading to increased confidence, character and overall life success for athletes of all ages and abilities. Athletes typically train in small semi-private groups that offer individualized coaching and close attention. Velocity Sports Performance currently has 78 centers open across the country, expecting to be at 100 facilities by the end of 2007.
