Established Restaurateur Will Open 20 Restaurants in Alberta and Saskatchewan

Dixie Lee International Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DLII), a growing master franchisor with 80 restaurants and over 40 years of continuous operations, today announced that it will significantly expand its presence in Canada through a development agreement with established restaurateur Elyas Chaudhery.

Under the development agreement, Chaudhery will open 20 Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood Restaurants in the Alberta and Saskatchewan markets, with an option for 10 additional restaurants. The first restaurant opened in Calgary August 2007 and all 20 locations will be open by 2012.

Elyas Chaudhery has more than 25 years of multi-concept restaurant experience, including 10 rewarding years with Subway. His successful career as a restaurateur began oversees primarily in fine dining establishments.
