Refrigerant At Concord Naval Weapons Station Recovered By Rapid Recovery

Rapid Recovery, a refrigerant recovery company servicing the continental United States, recently completed the refrigerant abatement at Concord Naval Weapons Station.

Concord Naval Weapons Station contained 19 buildings on over 12,000 acres with a total of 67 refrigerated appliance circuits of various sizes and refrigerant types. The facility was utilized during WWII as an armament storage depot for supply ships and as recently as the Gulf War processing ammunition. The facility is under strict security with access only provided with an escort. Ameritac Inc, of Concord was contracted by the US Government to place the 19 buildings into a "deeper state of sleep"�. The refrigerated appliances were recovered, stickered & documented by Rapid Recovery and photographed by Ameritac. Ameritac is taking this extra measure of photographing the equipment with the "Refrigerant Recovered"� sticker to insure they can show evidence of the units being recovered. They will also be receiving detailed refrigerant recovery documentation from Rapid Recovery.
