Jimmy's Egg Opens At 41st Street And Peoria

The first of seven Jimmy's Egg locations planned for the Tulsa market has opened at 41st Street and South Peoria adjacent to the Ace Hardware store. Jimmy's Egg is a 30-year-oldOklahoma-based breakfast and lunch chain that is recognized for its high valuebuild your own omelets and fresh baked raisin and country white breads. ThePeoria Jimmy's Egg is open daily serving a full breakfast and lunch menu withmost meals priced below $6.00.

"Being a Tulsa native I understand that great corner locations on SouthPeoria are hard to come by so we were very fortunate to have had Ace Hardwareoffer us such a great site to launch our development program," said Ken Burke,operating partner of Overeasy, LLC. According to Burke the second Jimmy's Eggis under construction at southeast 71st and Garnett and will open in March2009.

Jimmy's Egg has 15 locations operating in Kansas and Oklahoma. Jimmy'sEgg Franchise Systems began franchising in April of 2008 and currently hasfranchise development partners in Tulsa, OK, Wichita, KS, Springfield, MO andHouston, TX. "We expect to add at least three additional Area Developers in2009," according to Jim Burke, manager of Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems.

Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems is based in Oklahoma City and is owned by apartnership group led by Tulsa native Jim Burke, the former president and CEOof Oklahoma-based Eateries Inc and Loc Le, the founder of Jimmy's Egg. Burkeco-founded the Garfield's Restaurant chain of 55 restaurants in 20 stateswhich was sold to an investment group at the end of 2006.
