Petland Mexico Opens First Store

Petland, Inc. is pleased to announce that Petland Mexico recently opened it's first store in Mexico City, February 19, 2009. Petland Mexico master franchisors, brothers Moses & Dan Harari, serve as operators of the pet store.

"We welcome the opportunity to add Mexico to our growing international family," said Petland President Frank Difatta. Despite various cultural and language differences between American and Mexican consumers, the basics of customer service, animal care and presentation are universal. Eighteen months after their start with Petland, the Harari brothers are thrilled to bring the Petland experience to Mexico and to uphold the company's mission of matching the right pet with the right person and meeting the needs of both.
