A recent analysis of emerging trends in franchising by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) included Seniors / Home Care and Services. The CFA reported that Canada's aging population is growing and this category in franchising provides realistic and affordable options for seniors that require assistance but want to stay at home as long as possible. "We're proud to be a member of the Canadian Franchise Association, and highly value their analysis and projections," says Martin, "Our growth will continue to conform to CFA standards, as well as our own extensive application and franchise award process." CFA President & CEO, Lorraine McLachian, states, "Regardless of franchising trends, it's important to explore all opportunities carefully with the appropriate due diligence." Martin adds, "Our process ensures complete disclosure, and affords franchise candidates opportunities at various steps, to perform due diligence including, but not limited to phone interviews with head office staff, calls with current franchisees, and a personal visit to the Retire-At-Home Head Office in Ottawa."
