Senior Magazine Announces Name Change To Living Well Magazine

Tuesday, September 06, 2011

New name more accurately reflects publication's mission in providing active adults 50 and older with relevant information

LIVING WELL Magazine will replace the SENIOR Magazine title for the more than 14 regional magazines throughout the United States published under that name. The company is changing its name to better reflect its mission to help thriving adults navigate life after 50.

"We will always remember our SENIOR roots," says CEO Josh Cates, "but feel LIVING WELL Magazine more accurately captures the essence of what life is all about - living well. In the past several years, our clients have noticed those 50 and older are more active, engaged, and plugged in to life." "We've listened to the marketplace and are evolving to meet the needs of our readers. People over 50 want to savor life and they're looking for relevant, useful information on health and wellness, along with legal, financial and lifestyle topics to help them fulfill their goals. LIVING WELL Magazine provides it's readers with the tools to live their lives to the fullest," he says.

In conjunction with the name change, LIVING WELL Magazine's corporate headquarters are relocating from Colorado Springs, Co. to Springfield, Mo. The move is aimed to better serve the magazine's multiple franchisees by having a more centralized location within the country.

Meanwhile, the www.YourSeniorMagazine.com website will be phased over to www.livingwellmag.com over the course of a few months and the new Twitter account will now be @LivingWellmags.
