Back in 1960 when John Diefenbaker was prime minister, Canada's first-ever Olympic skiing gold medalist was making sports headlines, and a major revolution in politics, music and style was just around the corner, the Ricky's All Day Grill chain opened its first restaurant in British Columbia.
