Voo Doo B B Q Franchise Ranks High In Franchisee Satisfaction Report

VooDoo BBQ & Grill's franchise owners think highly of the franchise system's values, leadership, training and other key qualities and would be very likely to recommend the franchise opportunity to others, according to the latest edition of Franchise Business Review's annual report on franchisee satisfaction.

VooDoo's overall rating was 3.8 on a five-point scale, just short of "very good." On the FBR scale, 1 is poor, 2 average, 3 good, 4 very good and 5 excellent. Nine of VooDoo's 12 franchisees at the time of the survey, released in January, responded.

Some of VooDoo's highest scores in individual categories were: Core values, 4.7 Self-evaluation, 4.4 Leadership, 3.9 General satisfaction, 3.9 Franchisee community, 3.8 Franchise system, 3.5 "We're generally happy about our rating in the franchisee satisfaction report," said VooDoo BBQ & Grill CEO Tony Avila. "We recognize, though, that our score leaves some room for improvement in areas such as training and support and financial opportunity, and we want to be known nationwide as a consistently excellent franchise system in the opinions of our franchise owners." The published report ranks franchise systems along a series of factors, based on the results of a 40-question survey that FBR, a national franchise market research firm, sends to franchisees across the nation. The results are considered some of the most valuable franchise data in the industry; franchisee satisfaction is a key indicator of franchise quality, and franchise home offices encourage their franchisees to participate.

Within each category, respondents ranked VooDoo on more detailed factors; among the qualities on which VooDoo ranked 4 or above were team culture (4.2), cares about success (4.8), honesty & ethics (4.7), respect (4.7) and trust (4.4). VooDoo also scored a 4.3 on whether franchisees would be likely to recommend the franchise opportunity to others.
