Chicken Kitchen Corporation Announces The Opening Of Its 1st Franchised Restaurant In Pinecrest, Florida.

The quest for a truly great grilled chicken lunch or dinner in Pinecrest, Florida is over! Thursday, February 17, 2000, was the official opening of J.A.N. Foods, Incorporated franchised Chicken Kitchen restaurant -- home of the World Famous Chop-Chop� -- in Pinecrest, a suburb of Miami, Florida! Located in the Sunniland Shopping Center at 112th Street on South Dixie Highway, this opening marks Chicken Kitchen�'s first foray into franchised restaurants.

Chicken Kitchen� restaurants feature unique marinated, grilled chicken products and freshly prepared side orders and signature sauces. All chicken items, delivered fresh (never frozen), are marinated in the Company's proprietary blend of fruit juices, herbs and spices and grilled to order in the Company's uniquely designed open kitchens. All of the Company's side dishes are prepared fresh daily in each restaurant, utilizing fresh, natural ingredients. Most of the menu items are designed to be low in fat, cholesterol and calories and prepared in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Heart Association.

As of February 18, 2000, Chicken Kitchen owns and operates six Chicken Kitchen� restaurants with the aforementioned Franchise store for a total of 7 Chicken Kitchen� restaurants in operation, all in Miami-Dade County.
