Introducing " Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs"

The 96-unit sub sandwich concept formerly known as Mr. Goodcents, with locations in nine states, is undergoing a major rebranding, which includes changing its name to Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs.

Along with the name change, Goodcents is reinventing the brand with a new logo, new website, and new interior design. Drive thru's, online ordering and new menu items will also be added.

CEO David Goebel, the former CEO of Applebee's who became a Goodcents franchisee before taking over the company last year, is spearheading the changes.

"Consumers refer to us as Goodcents already," Goebel says. "I used two of my restaurants as guinea pigs for the name and signage changes. The fact that previous signage highlighted ‘Goodcents' in the name and that remains at the core of the signage reduces risk of alienating anyone," said Goebel.

The interior design changes will include a rich tile floor in traffic areas and carpet in the dining area with an earthy color scheme and wall art.

The menu changes include the addition of healthier options of wraps and salads.

"They fit with the freshness of the overall menu," said Goebel. "It's a nice line extension." The first Goodcents franchise with the new look and feel opened in September Kansas City in 2011 and additional franchises will be redone incrementally in the coming months.

The newly redesigned website will launch in April � with all rebranding updates being rolled out slowly throughout the year.
