Fitness Kickboxing Franchise Now Offers Classes In San Diego

Thursday, June 07, 2012

CKO Kickboxing San Diego is offering a free trial class to all San Diego residents for the month of June.

CKO Kickboxing is now offering fitness kickboxing classes in San Diego. "The class is done in a group and participants work at their pace. Each participant has their own hanging heavy bag," says Joe Virga who owns the new gym with his wife Trisha. All classes are one hour and the punching bag is the primary piece of equipment.

The class begins with a warm-up and total body stretch. The entire class is instructor led. Members have fun while burning mass amounts of calories. The resistance of the heavybags leads to quick muscle tone. The gym atmosphere is non-intimidating which is rare for a boxing gym. There are no mirrors and no sparring.

CKO Kickboxing founder Joseph Andreula says, "There is no fighting, no MMA and no one forcing you to do anything." Andreula adds, " We are all here to have fun, get in shape and feel better." Bianka Cabrera a member in the original CKO Kickboxing in Hoboken, NJ says, "Hitting her own bag everyday is the best therapy....Its amazing, addictive and motivating." Many participants in as little as four weeks will see a major visual and physical change.
