Colortyme Wraps Up National Convention With Meeting Of Franchise Advisory Council

ColorTyme, Inc., the nation's first franchisor of independently owned-and-operated rent-to-own stores, closed out its 2013 National Convention Wednesday morning with a meeting of the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC). The FAC convened at ColorTyme's corporate office to discuss topics relevant to the ColorTyme franchisee system, and to meet with members of the executive team.

"Today's FAC meeting was both very productive and a fitting way to end our convention," said ColorTyme CEO Cathy Skula. "This year's event was focused around our goals for the future, and that theme carried over into the majority of our discussions in the meeting." The 10-member FAC serves as a critical link between franchisees and the corporate management team. Each member is nominated and elected by their fellow franchisees, and assists and advises both the franchisee group and the corporate team.

The members of the 2012-2013 FAC are: Ray Bird, Shawn DiLeo, Eddie Edwards, Bruce Emory, Chris Higgs, Gary Hughes, Scott McHale, Dave Pagano, Richard Pannell and James Stephens.

Next up for ColorTyme is the 2013 Summer Retreat, to be held June 19-23 in Lake Oconee, Georgia. The 2014 National Convention is scheduled for Jan. 19-22, returning to the Embassy Suites in Frisco, Texas.
