Owners Donna Stein and Rachel Levenberg, who opened the doors on November 24th to lines of people waiting to satisfy their sweet tooth, plan to host a Friends & Family Event this Sunday, and an official Grand Opening on Sunday December 15th.
"Our husbands sell franchises for a living and have literally seen it all! When they both came home gushing about [Chocolate Works], we knew this was something very special," explains Rachel Levenberg. "We love the idea of being part of a business that offers so much opportunity for bringing happiness and joy to people's lives." "We both value the limitless creative possibilities in producing truly unique, exceptional quality chocolate gifts, and hosting parties, workshops, and events for children and adults," added Donna Stein. "We hope to become an integral part of the Bellmore Merrick community, where we help our neighbors celebrate their most joyous and important events and occasions." About The Chocolate Works The Chocolate Works franchise concept is the brainchild of second-generation chocolatier and owner, Joe Whaley, a West Point graduate and Iraq war veteran, whose family has been crafting and selling high quality gourmet chocolates for over 40 years. What sets Chocolate Works apart is its unique 3-tier model for satisfying the public's sweet tooth. The combination of chocolate and candy retail, on-site parties and workshops, and custom corporate products, offers multiple opportunities to generate revenue and community relationships.
