Buffalo Wild Wings Charges Past 1,000th Restaurant Milestone

Buffalo Wild Wings�, Inc. today announced that it will reach its 1,000th restaurant milestone this week, thanks to a restaurant opening in Monterrey, Mexico on Jan. 25, three openings today in Carson, Calif., McHenry, Ill., and Buchanan, W.Va., and a Livermore, Calif. opening on Jan. 28, taking the "Wings. Beer. Sports." chain to a total of 1,001 restaurants.

The first Buffalo Wild Wings opened in Columbus, Ohio, in 1982, and the restaurant has since become known for its exciting sports viewing atmosphere, its award-winning Buffalo, N.Y.-style chicken wings spun in one of 21 mouth-watering signature sauces and seasonings, as well as its wide selection of premium, craft and domestic beers. The company's new restaurant design captures the energy of a sports stadium and creates a social and interactive local gathering place for sports fans.

The Monterrey location is operated by BWW Foods and marks the second Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant to open in Mexico, following the first opening in Chihuahua in December. Buffalo Wild Wings plans to open more restaurants in Mexico, the Philippines and the Middle East this year.
