Cinnabon Eyes Missouri For Rapid Expansion

Cinnabon, Inc., the snack leader in the bakery-cafe segment, plans to significantly expand its footprint in Missouri, including the greater St. Louis metro area, by opening five mall-based franchise bakeries in the coming months.

Cinnabon(R), which currently has 10 locations throughout the state, is seeking franchisees to develop bakeries in the following malls located in Missouri and bordering areas in Illinois:

Mid Rivers Mall
St. Peters, Mo.
South County Center
St. Louis, Mo.
Battlefield Mall
Springfield, Mo.
St. Clair Square
Fairview Heights, Ill.
Eastland Mall
Bloomington, Ill.

The Cinnabon brand's real estate team has pre-qualified the sites, meaning they match foot traffic and size requirements for a Cinnabon bakery and are ready for immediate development. Additionally, Cinnabon executives have leveraged their relationships with mall owners to pre-negotiate attractive lease agreements on behalf of prospective franchise candidates.
