Jimmy Hajeer currently owns and operates 12 Denny's Restaurants from Dallas to Louisiana. He started with the company in 1981 as a server, supporting himself while attending University of Texas at Arlington. For 15 years Hajeer worked his way up in the company learning the ins and outs of operations. Then in 1996 he opened his first of 12 locations. In an interview he stated that guest service, communication, and cost control management are his strongest attributes as a restaurant operator. " Bringing 33 years of experience to the Cowboy Chicken brand, I can translate my skills and experience of my organization to build on the Cowboy Chicken vision to be an even bigger success for the brand and my company", Hajeer said.
As a resident of Terrell, Hajeer visited the new Cowboy Chicken location in Forney, and was an instant fan. He describes Cowboy Chicken as "one of a kind" and "health conscious". "I feel lucky to be a part of this concept and joining it as it begins its expansion." Hajeer says he will measure success by "guest satisfaction and brand awareness in the market". He will focus on building business relationships, working with churches, and other community involvements.
President, Sean Kennedy, says "Cowboy Chicken is elated to welcome Jimmy Hajeer to the family. We believe his experience will help the brand grow positively." Hajeer summed up his excitement about the new business venture by stating, "It is all about liking what you do and doing it right, and I like what Cowboy Chicken does." For over 30 years, the Cowboys at Cowboy Chicken have been cooking all natural chicken over a wood-burning fire, and today guests enjoy the same delicious wood-fired rotisserie chicken along with seventeen fresh, made from scratch sides. Since its humble beginnings in 1981, Cowboy Chicken has perfected the taste of chicken on a wood burning rotisserie and created the now famous Twice-Baked "Potaters". Other long time favorites are the famous Cowboy Chicken Enchiladas stuffed full of all white meat rotisserie chicken. Homemade peach cobbler finishes off any meal, and both the award-winning chicken enchiladas and homemade cobbler have been on the menu since Cowboy's inception, thirty years ago. Cowboy Chicken also features healthy, fresh salads and sandwiches, grilled skinless chicken breast, and nutritious sides such as seasonal fruit, baked sweet potato, green beans, and Campfire Veggies.
