Caring Transitions Business Aims To Ease Stress Of Transitions

Saturday, February 15, 2014

Charles Reinhart just opened Caring Transitions, which specializes in organizing and managing moves, downsizing, liquidation of belongings and estate sales for seniors and their families.

Charles Reinhart knows what it takes to clear out the home of a loved one who has passed. In fact, he's been dealing with that for years.

"When my grandmother passed away, my sister and parents took what they wanted from her house and then I moved in, the house was still 100 percent full. When I saw what Caring Transitions did, it really hit home for me," Reinhart said.

The Caring Transitions franchise specializes in organizing and managing moves, downsizing, liquidation of belongings and estate sales for seniors and their families. Reinhart just opened Caring Transitions of South Jersey, which serves Cumberland and Salem Counties as well as Mullica Hill and Swedesboro.

"I was looking to open my own business and, in all my research, Caring Transitions kept coming to the top of the list. In addition to my grandmother's house, my father was involved in a few estates as an executor and I saw so much hit the dumpster that could have been sold or donated but that the families didn"t have time to deal with," he said.

"Whether you"re clearing out a home of someone who has passed or helping a family member move into an apartment or assisted living community, it's a very difficult time. When someone has lived in a house for long time, there's a lot of life to go through. It's hard to go through that alone," Reinhart said. "Caring Transitions is here to help."

Reinhart, who has been married for five years and has a young daughter, has been a volunteer firefighter for 13 years and has lived in Greenwich all his life. Before opening Caring Transitions, Reinhart, who has a bachelor's degree in environmental management, worked in horticultural sales, as a local municipal code enforcement inspector, and as a county health inspector.

"I decided it was time to open my own business. I"m looking forward to being my own boss and helping people in the community through difficult times," he said. "I have seen family and friends have to deal with relocation, downsizing and the death of loved ones "" and the headaches that come with trying to decide what to do with their belongings. It will be nice to be able to help with that through Caring Transitions."

Founded in 2006, the Caring Transitions franchise has been a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior moving, household liquidations and estate sales management in dozens of cities across the United States. Caring Transitions is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association's Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
