T C B Y Yogurt Deal Sends 28 Stores To Southeast Asia

Broomfield-based Famous Brands International, the parent company of TCBY Yogurt and Mrs. Fields Cookies, announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Dewina Holdings Group to bring 28 TCBY stores to Southeast Asia over the next 10 years.

Under the master franchise agreement, the TCBY stores will be located in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.

The first of the stores is to open in Kuala Lumpur this summer.

Dewina Holdings Group is based in Malaysia. It owns and operates franchises including Burger King, Quiznos and Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits.
