Michigan-based Hungry Howie's Pizza is expanding its national presence with its first restaurant in the state of New York in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City.
To commemorate the entry into this new market, Hungry Howie's Pizza will make a donation to the Boy Scouts of America Greater New York Council and will offer one customer free pizza for a year.
According to a news release, prior to opening Hungry Howie's Pizza, franchisee Phillip Cotto spent years working in both commercial and residential real estate. He discovered Hungry Howie's Pizza while on a road trip, and has signed an area development agreement for plans to open multiple stores in the greater New York City area.
"I am ecstatic to be opening the first Hungry Howie's Pizza restaurant in New York," he said in the release. "It is important to give back to the community, so I am honored to be making a donation to the Boy Scouts of America Greater New York Council. I look forward to growing the Hungry Howie's Pizza brand throughout the great state and providing residents with exceptional service and fresh, delicious pizza.
