Nurse Next Door is proud to announce that the burgeoning home care franchise system has been ranked a top franchise system in North America for the sixth consecutive year by Franchise Business Review.
Franchise Business Review recently announced the recipients of its 2014 Franchisee Satisfaction Awards, part of a national project that looks at franchisee satisfaction at some of the North America's most popular franchise brands. The survey asked franchisees questions related to training and support, systems communication, franchisor/franchisee relations, financial opportunity, business lifestyle and overall satisfaction with their business. Eighty-nine percent of Nurse Next Door's franchisees participated in the survey. The full results are available at http://www.FranchiseBusinessReview.com.
"There's no doubt that the home health care space's booming," says John DeHart, CEO of Nurse Next Door. "2014 marks the sixth year we've participated in the survey and we're proud to be ranked the fifth best mid-sized franchise system in North America."
Nurse Next Door provides a full spectrum of in-home care services ranging from a few hours-per-week of caring companionship to around-the-clock care from a registered nurse. While Nurse Next Door outperformed industry benchmarks in every major category, the three key areas that stood out were the leadership, self-evaluation and franchise community categories.
"One of the most interesting aspects of the Franchise Business Review's survey is the self-evaluation section," says DeHart. "We paid careful attention to it this year because this section takes a deeper dive on how current franchise owners rate their own personal enjoyment opening their own franchise and how they enjoy being a part of the Nurse Next Door family as a whole. We're proud to highlight this particular section because it tells us that we're building a community of franchisees who proactively take the opportunity to develop strong ties to their communities and clients."
Although owning a home healthcare franchise isn't for everyone, Nurse Next Door franchisees felt that owning a home-care business led to a sense of personal fulfillment. "There is a point in life where you no longer seek that validation, but instead you want to feel good about what you do," says Dan Roda, who owns the Colorado Springs, Colorado franchise location. "This isn't a nine-to-five job but the profitability and success of a franchise will follow if you fully commit heart into the services you provide for your clients. For me, there isn't a more fulfilling purpose than our core purpose of making lives better."
Nurse Next Door is continuing to expand in the rapidly growing home care industry and plans to add up to 30 locations over the next 18 months.
