Einstein's Franchise Base Grows In Albuquerque Area

Partners Mike and Natalie Palmer and Shirley A. Fite inked a deal this week for an Einstein Bros Bagels franchise location at Albuquerque's Riverside Plaza shopping center.

The 2,300-square-foot location is due to open in about 45 days at the center located at 6231 Riverside Plaza Lane NW, near Coors Boulevard and Montano Road.

It is the third Einstein's franchise unit in Albuquerque for the trio. They operate locations at The Shops @ Presidential Plaza, located near Osuna Road and I-25, and at Unser Pavilion in Rio Rancho. The Unser Pavilion location just opened recently.

The 10-year lease deal at Riverside Plaza was brokered by Clayton King of NAI Maestas & Ward, who represented the landlord, and David Fite, restaurant specialist at REA - Real Estate Advisors, who represented the franchise partners.

Riverside Plaza's tenants include an Albertsons grocery store, Weck's and Defined Fitness.
