More Than 100 Locations Replacing On Premise Phone Systems With AltiGen Cloud Service
AltiGen Communications, Inc. (OTCQX: ATGN), a leading provider of premise and cloud-based IP-PBX and Contact Center solutions, today announced that Brightway Insurance has selected MaxCS Private Cloud to replace phone systems in more than 100 offices.
Brightway Insurance was ranked as the number one insurance franchise in 2013 by Entrepreneur Magazine. Founded in 2003 by CEO David Miller, the company has rapidly grown to 115 offices across seven states. Most impressively, the company has doubled new business revenue every year since starting, and finished 2013 with over $310 million in sales. Its innovative model allows franchisees to focus on new business growth by providing centralized customer service and support. At Brightway's centralized service center, an average of 1,000 calls and 1,600 policy changes are processed every day.
After evaluating future growth plans, Brightway management decided that a cloud based communications solution would be ideal for their franchised offices. Instead of managing an on premise phone system in every location, franchised offices could be consolidated onto a centralized hosted platform. Working with authorized AltiGen partner Michael Stern of Total Business Systems, the company has begun migrating existing systems, and is already placing new locations on the MaxCS Private Cloud Service.
"We have been a long time user of AltiGen technology at our corporate office," said Brightway CEO David Miller. "Our service center uses AltiGen's call center technology and we have historically deployed an on premise AltiGen system with local phone lines to all of our branches. Using MaxCS Private Cloud, we will be able to significantly lower costs for ourselves and our franchisees while greatly simplifying management."
"We've deployed hundreds of on premise AltiGen solutions for Brightway Insurance and other customers," said Michael Stern, President of Total Business Systems, Inc. of Florida. "What's great about MaxCS Private Cloud is that it's the exact same software, just now running in a hosted data center. Existing customers who switch are able to reuse their telephones and already understand how to use the product. For new customers, we're able to deliver a proven, feature rich product at an amazing price. At Brightway Insurance, every office that shifts to MaxCS Private Cloud immediately contributes to reducing overall communications costs. Bringing up a new location can be done almost instantaneously as well."
"AltiGen is very excited to see Brightway Insurance migrating to our new cloud based service," said AltiGen VP of Sales Mike Plumer. "While Brightway will be spending less per month, we will be able to provide more through the new service. Expanded functionality such as disaster recovery and mobile clients will ensure that the communications system helps play its role in the Brightway success story. We look forward to Brightway Insurance's expansion across the country."
