Re/ Max Named Leading Real Estate Franchise By Franchise Times

Re/Max has been named the leading real estate franchise by Franchise Times in its 2014 Top 200 list.

Re/Max has received the top spot on the real estate list six times in a row. The company is headquartered in Denver but has franchises all over the world.

Minneapolis-based Franchise Times conducts a survey based on 2013 sales and growth figures to create its annual list. Companies from a wide variety of industries are included.

Re/Max was ranked No. 12 on the overall list, two places higher than in 2013, and ranked No. 2 in the "Top 10 Sales Growth" category.

The company went public in 2013, filing a $100 million initial public offering in August.

Re/Max was also the highest-ranked real estate company on Entrepreneur Magazine's 2014 Franchise 500 for the second consecutive year.

Denver-based food companies Quiznos and Noodles & Co. also were noted in the list, at Nos. 113 and 155, respectively.
