Whataburger named Texas' most-visited burger joint

If you've lived in Texas, it's widely known burger lovers are all about the "Whatasize" and the spicy ketchup.

So it should be obvious that fast food chain Whataburger was the No. 1 burger joint in Texas, as more people checked in to Whataburger on Foursquare than any other burger chain in Texas, according to Thrillist.

The media group scrounged through more than 20 million Foursquare check-ins to determine who eats where and how many of those people eat there for the entire country.

When it comes to Whataburger, represented by a dark green on the map generated by Thrillist, most of Texas is green. Some counties in the state showed favoritism toward other burger chains, including In-N-Out, Sonic, Carl's Jr. and Jack in the Box.

Whataburger love also was in the air in Florida's panhandle, most of New Mexico and Oklahoma, and some parts of Arizona and Utah.
