Mainstream Boutique chain opens 3rd Ward franchise

Friday, March 13, 2015

Mainstream Boutique, part of a growing national chain, has opened a trend-centric women's fashion franchise in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward.

Local franchise owner Jeanette Dvorak has been scoping out a location for two years, ever since shopping at the Minneapolis boutique's Delafield franchise.

When space opened next door to Bangles & Bags in the 3rd Ward, which she co-owns, Dvorak knew it was time. She began work on the space in December, and opened her doors Friday at 159 N. Broadway.

Dvorak's 3rd Ward Bangles & Bags is approaching its fifth anniversary, she said. The accessories shop has four additional locations in Cedarburg, Delafield, Wauwatosa and Waukesha.

East Town Women's Resale previously occupied the space, but has since moved down the street, reopening at 181 N. Broadway.
