Eggsmart: Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch

Oh, geez, I'm just about done with the sky juice "" I swear I'm going to start sprouting flowers on my head from all the water! Still, we've definitely received our share of weird weather.

I have just the antidote to make you feel better - shopping! And a good breakfast to start things off: It's true what they say - breakfast is the most important meal of the day, giving us the much-needed fuel to face yet another day (of weird weather for starters)! So, lucky us, a lovely Eggsmart restaurant recently opened up near the Toronto Sun, on Adelaide St., between Ontario and Parliament Sts.

Open early, you have a fabulous selection of eggs any way you like, with the usual morning accoutrements, including fresh-cut home fries or French fries, toast, fruit and more.

The company has an Early Bird special served Monday to Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. - three eggs any style, bacon, ham or sausage served with Texas toast and fries, only $5 plus tax. Wow! Eggsmart also serves Montreal smoked meat sandwiches with sides, the "peameal melter," waffles with fresh fruit, eggs bennie, soups, salads and so much more, including great coffee! Prices are great, staff is friendly and the place even has a patio.

Open late to enjoy a good brunch in the evening - takeout, too.
